MCMH’s A Community In Conflict
elbē was lucky enough to provide a trio of interactives for the McLean County Museum of History’s newest exhibit, A Community In Conflict. The exhibit covers many stories of past generations as well as new and growing communities. The subject matter is challenging and compelling, all while providing opportunities for reflection on heritage, hopes, triumphs and failures. One of the three interactives created by elbē allows for users to pledge their own commitment to their local community. Pledges are displayed on a larger monitor, and a follow-up reminder is sent to the user after six months to help hold visitors accountable to their promise!
