elbē creative partners designed and developed two single-user experience interactives for the McLean County Museum of History as part of a larger exhibit renovation effort. “Railroad Shops” has two sections: an aerial map section and a photo album section. In the aerial map section, users can see an aerial photograph of the region and tap on hot spots that bring forward information and images related to the location. In the photo album section, users can browse several albums containing historic images that they can select and zoom in on to explore the finer details. “Employ Your Avatar” lets users build an avatar which they’ll see in various historical jobs from the region. Users can text or email themselves the image of their avatar in selected work environments of the time to share with their friends!
