Toshiba’s North American Commerce division completed their new show room for their HQ when the pandemic hit. Despite the issues of having in-person visitors, they needed a novel way to show off new products for exclusive guests.
Exhibitus and elbē partnered to create a virtual tour worth using. The HQ displays products individualized for each user. To facilitate this, we built a custom CMS so that sales staff can customize visits per customers’ interests.
Also included on the back-end is a rich reporting system we call the “insights panel” where sales personnel can see site usage, product views, and other analytics per user or overall. All of this info is displayed in easy-to-digest graphs.
Even today, the Virtual HQ is used in conjunction with live events. To facilitate this, features have continuously been added; for example, a matching game. From the Virtual HQ guests can play a matching game with prizes distributed at live events.
